About Abby Rutledge
Abby Rutledge is the General Manager at Strongoo, where she is dedicated to helping people move better, feel better, and thrive in a supportive community. She is especially excited to help members find an environment where they can address their pain, find rest, and discover a new way of life. Abby believes in creating sustainable habits one step at a time, empowering individuals to transform their lifestyles and overall wellness.
Her passion for this work comes from her own journey. As a competitive swimmer, she was always pushing herself to achieve more. Through training and lifting, she herniated a disc and underwent back surgery at 23. Ignoring pain and pushing through had been her norm, but her recovery forced her to redefine success—learning to slow down, address weaknesses, and embrace a sustainable approach to health. She discovered the importance of finding balance and not needing to prove herself - which is still a work in progress! True success, she realized, comes from listening to her body, embracing recovery, and building a lifestyle that supports long-term well-being. Now, she is committed to helping others break free from the pressure to push through pain and instead find strength in balance, resilience, and self-care.
With 2.5 years of experience in personal training, nutrition coaching, and semi-private training, Abby holds certifications as a Level 1 Renaissance Periodization nutrition coach and a USAW Level 1 trainer. She earned her degree in Biology and Spanish from Wheaton College.
Abby is thrilled to be part of the Strongoo team, where everyone is genuinely committed to serving others. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and friends, serving at her church youth group, trying new restaurants, and learning new crafts
